Sniper Ajix is a Lagos photography and film studio, founded in 2012. Weddings, portraits, fashion and more: campaigns, editorials and events for brands, publications and artists across Nigeria, more than 65 brands and counting. Through Sniper Ajix Studios we take film from first idea to final grade.

We work with brands and people who are socially responsible, and we are drawn to ideas that create positive change. Whatever the assignment, the standard is the same: considered light, strong direction and images that are ready to work.

How we work

Visual storytelling is our method, not our tagline. We plan the story, build the set, direct the people and deliver the work ready to publish.

Behind the camera

Shola Ajisegbede

Founder · Photographer / Creative Director

Shola Ajisegbede, known as Sniper Ajix, is a Nigerian photographer, creative director and entrepreneur based in Lagos.

He has been shooting professionally since 2005, when he started out on film. He studied Computer Science at university, completed a three-month internship with Insigna Media, and started Sniper Ajix officially in 2012, the year he graduated.

His first major feature was 2Face Idibia's wedding, published on BellaNaija. Since then he has led work for more than 65 brands, including PocketMoni, Consolidated Hallmark Insurance, Peak Milk, DStv, MTN, GTBank and Lagos Fashion & Design Week.

Weddings are his first love, but his work spans portraits, fashion, editorial, events, documentary and commercial photography and film.

He is the convener of Inside The Frame Expo, a photography and creative industry expo in Lagos, and the founder of SapSac, a gear brand making carrying and studio solutions for photographers and creatives. He is passionate about teaching photographers the business side of the craft.

He is the founder and Creative Director of Sniper Ajix.
